You’re very professional. You gave our restaurant a very fair, positive AND critical review of our SurlyFest tasting dinner. That’s very rare in our local scene where some writers can be somewhat pre-dispositioned, ideological, and more worried about their own dreams of being a writer rather than being a good critic. I sincerely hope you continue.

Having a kid is one of the best things in the world. Seeing your kid smile after the end of a very long day of hard work feels like winning the lottery a million times over.

If I can suggest one small thing: you can get by with an OK camera by using your media manager software to make adjustments for white-balancing issues with the original image. It’ll save you a lot of money.

Please keep up the great work and keep advancing the great beer coming out of the Twin Cities.

Wired loves it. Engadget loves it. And well, you can imagine what Pogue says (but it did make his very short list of things that he actually purchased in 2009). It’s a point & shoot camera with the guts of a DSLR (f2 lens) for $400. We got one for xmas and have been loving it.
