A little off topic…but I couldn’t help myself. The Yankees are gonna need all the Brooklyn Brewery Pennant Ale ’55 they can get.

Yankees in 3.

Dave’s correct.

We have nothing to lose (except the series).
Best team in baseball with one of the best pitchers in baseball going up against a scrappy, never-say-die pack of piranhas (who by the way learned how to hit in the past couple weeks).
Twins in 5.

At the very least, we’ll wear the Yankees down so the Sox can clean them up next round.

You should really just want the Yanks to win. The quicker the Twins get eliminated, the quicker you can get the Twins out of a turd of a stadium.

Ha, good point Dave. The Dome isn’t going quietly, though.
We have season tickets next year, can’t wait!

New stadium looks nice. I really just want to travel around one day and visit all the stadiums.

Happy to get out of the dome, but great memories! I’m starting to think the Gophers should have played there on Saturday

As much as the dome is a downer for regular season games on a nice summer day or eve,
there is nothing like it when it’s packed with 55,000 screaming fans.
For big games, it’s a “dome field advantage” that, all things considered, will be sorely missed when we need a big win.
