I bet it feels good to know that others who really understand beer appreciate yours. And, as you said, the feedback must be invaluable.

Brewing is still a mystery to me, one I hope to begin unravelling soon. The idea of being able to brew a beer that’s ribbon-worthy (Byggvir’s stylish tankards are just a bonus) is something to shoot for.

Right now, I’m aiming to not have people spit out my first batch.

I’m pretty sure I was one of the judges for this beer during the state fair competition. I hope I has some good things to say about it. Believe it or not, I have yet to enter into any contests. But you’re right, that’s one of the best ways to become a better brewer. And you just might win some metals in the process.
